PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a degassing prevention valve unit for an overtube which never damages diseased tissues removed by an endoscopic surgical procedure, prevents leakage of supplied air when an endoscope is operated, and is easily attached to and detached from the overtube.
SOLUTION: The degassing prevention valve unit for the overtube includes a cylindrical attachable and removable part attached to and detached from the overtube on one surface, a circular hole-shaped endoscope insertion part which is formed in the central part of the other surface for enabling the insertion and removal of the endoscope, a retaining part provided on the peripheral edge part of the endoscope insertion part, and handle parts provided to extend outward at least at two parts on the outer edge part of the retaining part. The retaining part has an expanding and contracting means.
