PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate the smoothness of the skin as well as the luster of the skin.
SOLUTION: There are provided an information processing device, an information processing method and program. A non-reflective mode image acquisition part 51 acquires a non-reflective mode image. A reflective mode image acquisition part 52 acquires a reflective mode image. A color correction processing part 53 corrects the luminance level of the non-reflective mode image and reflective mode image respectively. A subtraction processing part 54 generates a difference image of the two images fed from the color correction processing part 53. An arithmetic operation processing part 55 calculates the average of the difference image and the degree of deviation from a regular distribution (skewness or kurtosis). An operation result analysis processing part 56 generates information for evaluating the texture of the luster and the smoothness of the skin of a subject from the average of the difference image and the skewness or kurtosis. An output control part 57 controls the display or the sound output of the result of diagnosis of the state of the subjects skin to a display or a speaker.
