PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assay for detecting and measuring anti-TNF&alpha； drug therapeutic agent in the sample and the presence or level of autoantibody.SOLUTION: An assay includes step (a) for forming a first complex by making a first sample from the subject in contact with the labeled TNF&alpha；, detecting by size exclusion chromatography, thereby measuring the level of the anti-TNF&alpha； drug, step (b) for forming a second complex of the anti-TNF&alpha； drug and the antibody by making a second sample from the subject in contact with the labeled anti-TNF&alpha； drug, detecting by size exclusion chromatography and measuring the level of the autoantibody, and step (c) for subtracting the level of the auto-antibody measured in step (b) from the level of the anti-TNF&alpha； drug measured in step (a), thereby determining the effective amount of the anti-TNF&alpha； drug.【課題】試料中の抗ＴＮＦα薬治療剤及び自己抗体の存在又はレベルを検出及び測定するアッセイを提供する。【解決手段】被験者由来の第一の試料を標識されたＴＮＦαと接触させて第一の複合体を形成させ、サイズ排除クロマトグラフィーで検出し、それによって抗ＴＮＦα薬のレベルを測定する工程（ａ）と、被験者由来の第二の試料を標識された抗ＴＮＦα薬と接触させて抗ＴＮＦα薬と自己抗体の第二の複合体を形成させ、サイズ排除クロマトグラフィーで検出し、自己抗体のレベルを測定する工程（ｂ）、工程（ａ）において測定された抗ＴＮＦα薬のレベルから工程（ｂ）において測定された前記自己抗体のレベルを減算し、それによって前記抗ＴＮＦα薬の有効量を決定する工程（ｃ）、を含む。【選択図】図４
