PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prop for fruit tree shelf by which a fruit tree shelf may be easily arranged at an arbitrary height within a predetermined range without any excavating work for embedding an anchor when the fruit tree shelf is constructed.SOLUTION: The prop for fruit tree shelf P1 comprises an inner pipe and outer pipe. The prop for fruit tree shelf P1 has a nested structure with the inner pipe and outer pipe, being able to be expanded and contracted in an axis direction and being able to pivot in a circumferential direction whose center is nearly close to axis center. The prop for fruit tree shelf P1 comprises a receiving part 3 arranged on the upper end side of the inner pipe a screw jack 5 consisting of a male screw 51 arranged on the lower end side of the inner pipe and a female screw 52 arranged on the upper end side of the outer pipe and a spiral pile 4 arranged on the lower end side of the outer pipe.
