SOLUTION: The laying material main body 12 and a metal compound having a metal atom and a hydrocarbon group, which is carried or mixed on the laying material main body, are bound to the surface through an oxygen atom and have wavelengths of 450 nm and 550 nm in a visible absorption spectrum. And a photocatalyst particle 14 comprising titanium-based compound particles having an absorption peak at 2700 cm-1 to 3000 cm-1 in the infrared absorption spectrum, and a bed material for animal breeding.
