PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an adaptive scan conversion process accommodated to various conditions such as intrinsic display resolution of a display in an ultrasonograph.SOLUTION: A scan converter module 22 generates display frame data from reception frame data using a conversion table accommodated to intrinsic display resolution of a display. A frame memory 24 stores the reception frame data and a frame memory 28 stores the display frame data. A control unit selects a conversion table corresponding to the intrinsic display resolution of the display from a conversion table group.
