This invention provides a dual wavelength phototherapy device for cartilage repairing using nanogold mixed biological gel. The phototherapy device consists of one or two light sources, a power supply and a control panel. The output light of the said light source is delivered to the treated cornea via an optical set, optical fiber or a hand piece or an endoscope. The said device may also consist of an observing endoscope having an infrared fiber probe. The said light source can be a laser or a LED having a wavelength range of 750 to 980 nm or UV-blue at 350 to 460 nm. The said device provides quantitative, time controlled and adjustable speed for photo polymerization or gelling via the irradiation light power, period and modes. The power of the UV-blue or the infrared light t the treated area is 0.1 to 10 W depending on its spot size of 1.0 to 20 mm.
