Disclosed is a drip irrigation emitter attached to a water supply tube for watering a plant little by little. The drip irrigation emitter comprises an outer member and a slow flow member. The outer member 10 includes a guide hole 16, an inlet and an outlet 18. The slow flow member 20 is removably attached to the guide hole 16 of the outer member 10. The slow flow member 20 includes a main body 21, a passage 23, a piercing portion 25, and a plurality of notches 24. The passage 23 is helically formed around the body 21 and has a certain cross-sectional area. The piercing part 25 is attached to the main body 21 and protrudes from the entrance. The notch 24 is formed around the main body 21 between the first end face of the main body 21 and the piercing portion 25 and communicates with the passage 23. Each notch 24 has a smaller cross-sectional area than the passage 23 and prevents the passage 23 from being blocked by impurities. The piercing part 25 can pierce the water supply tube 30 directly for accurate alignment with the plant.
