PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitter capable of emitting light hardly dazzling a user while radiating the light for activating the user's body.SOLUTION: A light irradiation device 1 radiates light for activating a body. The light irradiation device 1 also comprises a blue light source 92, a white light source 91, and a control unit 17 for adjusting radiation intensity of light radiated by the blue light source 92 and white light source 91. The control unit 17 also performs control so as to turn on the white light source 91 at all times and repeatedly turn on and off the blue light source 92. The sum of radiation intensity of light for activating a body included in the white light source 91 and radiation intensity of light for activating the body included in the blue light source 92 is equal to or higher than a biological action threshold value indicating an effect for activating the body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2【課題】使用者の身体を活性化させる光を照射しつつ、使用者が眩しさを感じ難い光を出射することができる発光装置を提供する。【解決手段】浴光装置１は、身体を活性化させる光を照射する。また、浴光装置１は、青色光源９２と、白色光源９１と、青色光源９２及び白色光源９１が照射する光の照射強度を調節する制御部１７とを備える。また、制御部１７は、白色光源９１を常時点灯し、青色光源９２を点灯と消灯とを繰り返すように制御する。そして、白色光源９１に含まれる身体を活性化させる光の照射強度と、青色光源９２に含まれる身体を活性化させる光の照射強度との和が、身体を活性化させる効果を表す生体作用閾値以上である。【選択図】図２
