PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly guide a guide wire from a side port to the distal opening of a main port in the interior of a puncture device and simply constituting the puncture device to be applied.SOLUTION: This guide wire introduction device 12 is provided with a guide wire 20 having its distal portion bent when non-restricted, a first pipe 22 retaining a portion including a rear end other than the distal portion of the guide wire 20 in a lumen, a second pipe 24 with both open ends projecting from one part of the first pipe 22 and provided separately from the opening of the first pipe 22, and a tube 26 covering a portion including the distal portion of the guide wire 20 and substantially linearly retaining the distal portion.
