This invention provides a powder cosmetic for bathing, which exhibits a stable performance of a magnesium hydride even after storage for a long period of time. The powder cosmetics of this invention contains magnesium hydride and a moisture-absorbing component. The magnesium hydride is preferably in the form of fine particles having an average particle diameter of 10~120 μm.
