PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of cleaning water without using any special filtration equipment for filtering water in a water bath and maintaining an environment in which the larva of the firefly can grow, so that the firefly can be bred from a larva to an adult.SOLUTION: A firefly breeding device comprises: a water bath a water permeable concrete block arranged in said water bath a soil layer over said concrete block and a circulation system for the water stored in the water bath.
