<;P>;PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for rearing in order to eliminate a floating phenomenon of floating larvae to the water surface which cannot be avoided by the conventional method in rearing the floating larvae of bivalves (Atrina pectinata, Crassostrea gigas, Crassostrea nippona, Pinctada fucata martensii, Anadara broughtonii, Scapharca globosa ursus, Fulvia mutica, Ruditapes philippinarum, Meretrix lusoria, or Mactra chinensis), and to provide a rearing apparatus. <;P>;SOLUTION: Seawater, low-salt seawater or freshwater is sprinkled from the top surface of a rearing water tank, and the rearing water containing the floating larvae in the rearing water tank is sucked from the upper limit water level without causing bubble formation by contamination of atmospheric air from the surface of the rearing water and fed toward the side of the rearing water tank base. Thereby, the floated larvae are settled in the rearing water. <;P>;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
