PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod having a tip rod that has good flexibility, improved sensitivity and excellent strength characteristics.SOLUTION: The fishing rod includes a solid core material 12, and a tip rod 10 having a prepreg 20A made of fiber-reinforced resin wound on the outer peripheral surface of the core material 12.
