PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a TREM-1 activity inhibitor and a preventive and therapeutic agent including the inhibitor for inflammatory disorder caused by activation of the TREM-1.SOLUTION: A mouse TREM-1 functional ligand is a mouse sialic acid-binding immunoglobulin-like lectin-G (Siglec-G), and a human TREM-1 functional ligand is a leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor A1 (LILR A1) which is an immunocyte surface receptor, and a leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor B2 (LILR B2). A TREM-1 activity inhibitor and a preventive and therapeutic agent for inflammatory disorder caused by activation of TREM-1 including the inhibitor can be obtained by using a neutralizing antibody to the TREM-1 ligand or fragments of the antibody, or a functional nucleic acid targeting the TREM-1 functional ligand.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】TREM-1活性阻害剤や、該活性阻害剤を有効成分として含有するTREM-1の活性化に起因する炎症性障害の予防又は治療剤を提供すること。【解決手段】本願発明者は、マウスTREM-1の機能的リガンドがマウスシアル酸結合性免疫グロブリン様レクチン-G(Siglec-G)であること、ヒトTREM-1の機能的リガンドが、免疫細胞表面受容体である白血球免疫グロブリン様受容体A1(LILR A1)、及び白血球免疫グロブリン様受容体B2(LILR B2)であることを明らかにした。上記TREM-1リガンドに対する中和抗体又はその抗体断片、あるいは上記TREM-1リガンドを標的とする機能性核酸を用いることによって、TREM-1活性阻害剤や、TREM-1の活性化に起因する炎症性障害の予防又は治療剤を提供することができる。【選択図】なし
