Embodiments of the invention generally provide an apparatus and method fordecontaminating tubing. In one embodiment, a test system for a containmentsystemis provided. The containment system has a containment housing having anairflowinlet aperture； an airflow outlet aperture； a bag-in/bag-out filter accessport； a filtermounting portion disposed between the inlet and outlet apertures； and aplurality ofports formed through the containment housing wherein the ports include atleast adownstream sample port and an upstream sample port. The test system has asample system including equipment adapted for testing the filter disposed inthecontainment system utilizing samples obtained from the downstream sample portandthe upstream sample port. The test system has a vacuum pump having an inletcoupled to the sample system； and a device for reversing a flow within thesamplesystem.
