PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article for preventing leakage of an absorptive-core forming material while having excellent absorption property of high viscous fluids such as loose stool and the like.SOLUTION: The absorptive article 1 has an absorber 4. The absorber 4 composes: an absorptive core 40 including hydrophilic fibers and a water absorptive polymer while having an elongated shape in one direction and a core wrap sheet 5 covering the absorptive core 40. The core wrap sheet 5 includes a high fluid transparent paper 51 which is oppositely provided on the skin-facing surface 40a of the absorptive core 40.
