The invention relates to an orthopedic foot device with aconnection part for the lower leg, a swivel joint acting asan ankle joint by means of which a foot part is rotatablyconnected in the direction of dorsiflexion and the directionof plantar flexion to the connection part, with a dampingarrangement influencing the rotational movement about theswivel joint, with a sensor arrangement for detecting actionstates of the orthopedic foot part, and with a control unitconnected to the sensor arrangement which controls thedamping arrangement. The object is achieved by the fact thatthe sensor arrangement has an ankle-angle sensor whichmeasures the angle between the connection part and the footpart, an absolute-angle sensor relating to the plumb line anda moments sensor for determining the torque on the anklejoint or a force effecting a torque on the ankle joint.
