PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope capable of preventing damage to an optical fiber to transmit imaging optical data signals.

SOLUTION: The endoscope 2 includes: an imaging element 42 for outputting imaging signals a photoelectric converting element 44 for converting the electric signals from the imaging element 42 into optical signals wiring 46a-46c for transmitting electric signals to the imaging element 42 and the photoelectric converting element 44 and the optical fiber 45 connected to the photoelectric converting element 44. The wiring 46a-46c is spirally twined and disposed to be inserted into the optical fiber 45 and to cover the outer periphery of the optical fiber.
