To provide a walking assistance tool for enabling a healthy person and an aged person having no confidence in walking by own ability to safely move indoors and to easily perform traveling by own leg force not to cause further decrease of muscle strength.SOLUTION: A wheelchair for enabling getting-on from a front side includes: rear wheels 1 being a pair of wheels arranged on the right side and the left side of a rear part of a wheelchair body； a front wheel 3 arranged in a lower part at the front center of a sitting seat 8； and a front wheel cover 6. The wheelchair has a structure including foot supports that can be opened/closed with a frame 7 in the upper part of the front wheel as a shaft and can be stored under the sitting seat. Thus, right and left corners in a front part of the sitting seat 8 can be eliminated, so that a user can perform traveling by opening legs and can stand up while legs are opened. The frame 7 in the upper part of the front wheel supports the front center of the sitting seat 8, so as to reduce the risk of forward falling of the wheelchair when a user stands up.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】自力歩行に自信のない健常者や高齢者が、安全に室内を移動可能で、かつ、それ以上の筋力低下を招かないように、自身の脚の力で走行し易い歩行補助器具を提供する。【解決手段】本考案は、前から乗り込む形態の車椅子において、車体後部の左側と右側に一対の車輪である後輪１と着座シ－ト８の前方中央の下部に前輪３及び前輪カバ－６が形成され、前輪上部のフレ－ム７を軸とし開閉可能で、着座シ－ト下に収納可能なフットサポ－トを備えた構造のため、着座シ－ト８の前方左右の角をなくすことを可能とし、脚を開いて漕ぎ、脚を開いて立ち上がる事を可能とし、前輪上部のフレ－ム７が着座シ－ト８の前方中央を支持するため立ち上がり時に車椅子が前に転倒するリスクを下げることを可能とする。【選択図】図１
