PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel solution in which a female component of an animal identification device comprises a cavity for receiving a head of a male component of an animal identification device.SOLUTION: A cavity (30) comprises a closing element (20) which is intended to held a head in the cavity. The closing element comprises a base part, and at least one elastic claw extending from the base part toward an inlet of the cavity.
