The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating asthmatic diseases and a health functional food composition for preventing or alleviating asthmatic disease comprising monoacetyldiacylglycerol compounds as active ingredients. The monoacetyldiacylglycerol compounds of the present invention inhibit expression of IL-4 in EL-4 cells which are T-cell lymphoma cells of a mouse, reduce hypersensitivity of airway in an asthma-inducing animal model, and inhibit infiltration of inflammatory cells in bronchial tubes. Also, the compounds of the present invention inhibit formation of lgE in a lavage fluid of serum and bronchial tubes, and expression of Th2 cytokines (IL-4, IL-5, and IL-13) in the lungs, thereby being used for a composition for preventing, treating, and alleviating asthmatic diseases as compounds which overcome side effects of asthma drugs, have no toxicity, and have excellent treatment effect.본 발명은 모노아세틸디아실글리세롤 화합물을 유효성분으로 함유하는, 천식의 예방 또는 치료용 약학적 조성물, 천식의 예방 또는 개선용 건강기능식품 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 모노아세틸디아실글리세롤 화합물은, 생쥐 T 세포 림프종 세포인 EL-4 세포에서 IL-4의 발현을 억제하고, 천식유발 동물모델에서 기도과민성을 경감시키며, 기관지 내 염증세포 침윤을 억제한다. 또한, 본 발명의 화합물들은, 혈청과 기관지 폐포 세척액 내의 IgE 생성을 억제하고, 폐에서 Th2 사이토카인(IL-4, IL-5 및 IL-13)의 발현을 억제하는 효과가 우수한 바, 현재 사용되는 천식치료제의 부작용을 극복하고, 독성이 없으면서 치료효과가 탁월한 화합물로서 천식 예방, 치료 및 개선용 조성물로 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
