PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair preventing a foot of a user from being injured by the foot contacting a footrest plate when a care giver such as a nurse stand the user of the wheelchair by the care giver assisting and preventing the wheelchair from falling down forward when sliding a pedestal as a counter measure of the same and a slide pedestal for the same.SOLUTION: The pedestal 101 slides forward independently from footrest parts 531 and front and rear wheels via a slide mechanisms 102 arranged beneath the pedestal 101 in the slide pedestal wheelchair, the pedestal 101 slides forward along with support wheels 103 arranged in a lower part front side of armrests 502, a backrest 503, and the pedestal 101, or the pedestal slide mechanisms 102 in the slide, the support wheels 103 are support points for keeping the center of gravity between the support wheels 103 and the rear wheel 502 when the pedestal 101 slides forward and are a mechanism for preventing the wheelchair from falling down forward including the case when the user applies a body weight to the armrests 502 and is used for raising safety.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】看護士等の介助者が補助をして、車椅子使用者を立たせる際に使用者の足が足置板に接触して負傷することの防止および、その対策である台座スライド時に車椅子の前方転倒を防止する車椅子と、そのためのスライド台座を提供する。【解決手段】スライド台座車椅子は、台座101の真下に設けられたスライド機構102を介して、台座101がフットレスト部531および前後の車輪と独立して前方にスライドし、かつ当該スライドは台座101が肘掛502、背もたれ503、および台座101または台座スライド機構102の下部前側に設けられた支持車輪103と一緒に前方にスライドするものであり、当該支持車輪103は台座101が前方にスライドした際に重心を支持車輪103と後輪502の間に保つための支点で使用者が肘掛502に体重をかけた場合も含めて車椅子の前方転倒を防止する機構であり、安全性を高めるものである。【選択図】図1
