The invention relates to a pre-mix which is used for the preparation of enriched animal feed, said pre-mix comprising: (i) a vegetable and/or mineral base, and (ii) grains comprising at least one active principle and a composition. The invention also relates to such grains, a method of preparing such feed and the uses of one such pre-mix and such grains. According to the invention, the pre-mix is characterised in that the grains have an average diameter of less than 1 mm and in that the composition comprises a carrier or a mixture of carriers having adhesive properties in the presence of an aqueous phase. The invention is particularly suitable for the preparation of enriched granules for commercial animals and equids.
