The present invention relates to a method for producing a porous ceramic carrier in order to replace a conventional solid culture medium used for aquaculture, wherein a solid including trace elements is mixed and molded using natural zeolite as a main ingredient, and plasticizer and nitrogen components are dipped, so that a plant can be grown well. The porous ceramic carrier has a particle size of 3 mm or less, contains mineral components which are similar to soil, has a larger porosity than conventional natural zeolite plasticized products, and comprises various mineral components which are not included in natural zeolite.본 발명은 종래의 수경재배에 사용되는 고형배지를 대체하기 위한 것으로서, 천연제올라이트를 주원료로 하여 미량 원소를 포함하는 고형분을 혼합하여 성형한 후, 소성 및 질소 성분 함침을 하여 작물이 잘 생장할 수 있도록 하기 위한 다공성 세라믹 담체의 제조 방법에 관한 것이다. 입자 크기는 3mm 이하로 구성되고 토양과 유사한 미네랄 성분들을 함유하고 있으며 기존의 천연제올라이트 소성물보다 공극율이 크며, 천연제올라이트 자체에 포함되어 있지 않는 다양한 미네랄 성분들이 함유되어 있는 것을 특징으로 한다.
