PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foam insulation bed for plant cultivation which can prevent global warming due to the synergistic effect in combination of the greening effect by direct or indirect cultivation of plants with the heat insulation effect of foam insulation material, while enabling means against heat island effects, the foam insulation material being able to cultivate plants and having heat insulation properties because of being made by foaming a material which can cultivate plants as a substrate.SOLUTION: By laying or placing as a plant cultivation bed a foam insulation material 1 obtained by adding and foaming pulp (cellulose fiber), starch, polypropylene (PP) and, if necessary, fertilizer, plant activator, water retaining material or antibacterial metal ion agent, to cultivate plants, the triple effects of preventing global warming by the green effect of plants, of preventing global warming by the heat insulation effect of the foam insulation material, and also of preventing global warming by the cooling effect of the heat of evaporation of plant cultivation water enable measures against heat island effects and make the temperature control of cultivated plants easy.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】植物が栽培できる物質を基材に発泡して植物が栽培できると共に、断熱性がある発泡断熱材を作り、植物の直接または間接的栽培による緑化効果と発泡断熱材による断熱効果の組み合わせ相乗効果で温暖化防止と共に、ヒートアイランド対策ができる植物栽培発泡断熱材床を提供する【解決手段】パルプ(セルロース繊維)、でん粉、ポリプロピレン(PP)と必要に応じて肥料や植物活性剤や保水材や抗菌性金属イオン剤を加えて発泡した発泡断熱材1を植物の栽培床として、敷設したり、置いたりして植物を育成栽培する事により、植物の緑化効果による温暖化防止、発泡断熱材の断熱効果による温暖化防止、更に植物栽培水の気化熱の冷却効果による温暖化防止のトリプル効果でヒートアイランド対策することができると共に、栽培植物の栽培温度管理を容易にすることができる。【選択図】図2
