PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movement support system capable of performing movement and turnabout of a body part smoothly.SOLUTION: A movement support system 2 includes a body part 4, a care belt 8 for holding a body of a care-receiver 12, an arm mechanism 6 connected between the body part 4 and the care belt 8 for supporting the movement of standing-up or sitting-down of the care-receiver 12 by changing the posture with respect to the body part 4, and a walking mechanism 10 for moving the body part 4 accompanying the walking movement of the care-receiver 12.
