PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve portability without giving an unpleasant feeling to a subject.SOLUTION: An electronic cassette 11 has first and second housings 21 and 22, and upper and lower surfaces of those are flat surfaces. The housings 21 and 22 are composed of first and second housing bodies 23 and 24 and first and second cover bodies 25 and 26 for blocking the openings of the housing bodies 23 and 24. The first cover body 25 of the first housing 21 is formed by material making an X-ray pass therethrough, and the second housing 22 is made from metal. On opposing surfaces 23a and 24a of the housing bodies 23 and 24, electric connectors 27 and 28 which are fitted and separated to/from each other are respectively provided. Fastening portions 29 and 30 which are fastened with each other are respectively provided on side surfaces 23b and 24b of the housing bodies 23 and 24. A gripping cylinder portion 31 is formed near an end surface 24c of the second housing body 24, and a gripping hole portion 32 communicating to the gripping cylinder portion 31 is formed on the second cover body 26.
