PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid application apparatus capable of easily confirming whether a liquid is switched into a liquid discharge state or a liquid non-discharge state, and stably and precisely performing an intermittent application of the liquid.
SOLUTION: The liquid application apparatus 1 is provided with: a solenoid valve 4 for opening and closing a flow path of compressed air a liquid application part 5 for switching the liquid to be applied on a base material 2 to be coated under a transportation to be in the discharge state or the non-discharge state by moving a valve body with the compressed air from the solenoid valve 4 a pressure sensor 6 for measuring the inner pressure of the flow path on the way of the compressed air from the solenoid valve 4 to the liquid application part 5 and a sequencer 7 receiving on-signal from the pressure sensor 6 and analyzing the received on-signal.
