Flow control device 10 includes a housing 12 having an upstream end 14 to contact a source of fluid to be introduced in use, and a downstream end 16 to contact to be connectable to a supply duct 26. Flow path 18 is defined by the downstream end 16 and the upstream end 14 of the housing 12. In order to control the flow of fluid through the passage 18, the valve device 20 is disposed in the flow path 18. Flow control unit 21 20 cooperates with the valve device.
