The present invention relates to a method of making a two-piece transcatheter valve comprises the steps of:forming a first layer of composite material into a tubular formplacing a leaflet frame proximate the first layer of composite materialforming a second layer of composite material around the leaflet frame, wherein the first layer and a second layer comprise a tubular formclamping an end portion of the tubular form to shape leafletsforming a third layer of composite material around the first layer of composite material, the second layer of composite material, and the leaflet frameplacing a body frame about the third layer of composite material andplacing a fourth layer of composite material around the body frame.
