PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging device capable of improving accuracy in image diagnosis using a wide area image.SOLUTION: A storage unit 49 stores a first image and a second image which are preliminarily generated and have an overlapped area. An important area of interest setting unit 37 sets an area of interest on the overlapped area according to an instruction from a user or image processing. A joint area setting unit 39 sets a joint area for joining the first image and second image on an area in the overlapped area except the area of interest.
