A combination or kit thereof comprising (A) pemirolast and (b) a statin selected from rosuvastatin and atorvastatin. The combination can be used to treat inflammatory conditions in particular: migraine, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, Crohns disease, multiple sclerosis, psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, ulcerative cololitis or a cardiovascular disease. In particular the cardiovascular disease is atherosclerosis or an associated disorder selected from aortic aneurysm, arteriosclerosis, peripheral arterial occlusive disease, a coronary artery disease, a coronary disease, plaque rupture, atheroma rupture, vascular disease, arterial disease, ischemic disease, ischemia and stroke.
