The present invention is a system for uprooting crop stalks after the crops are been harvested is provided. The system comprises a rotating and transmission means for providing rotational motion, atleast one first axle and atleast one second axle, a support assembly and a frame. The rotating and transmission means provides rotational motion to the atleast one first axle. The atleast one first axle and the atleast one second axle are having wheels disposed to its distal ends. The support assembly includes a first support arrangement and a second support arrangement. The first support arrangement provides support to the atleast one first axle and the second support arrangement provides support to the atleast one second axle. The support assembly is mounted on the frame. The first support arrangement is rigidly fixed to the frame whereas the second support arrangement is hingeably secured to a sliding member, which is slidably secured to the frame.
