The present disclosure relates to chimeric antigen receptors for binding to target antigens. The chimeric antigen receptor was developed from a wild type protein or domain thereof, and (a) reduced activity compared to the antigen-specific target region of the wild type protein or domain thereof under analysis under normal physiological conditions, and ( b) including at least one antigen-specific target region having at least one of increased activity compared to the antigen-specific target region of the wild-type protein or domain thereof in the analysis under abnormal conditions.
