The present invention relates to a composition for the prevention or treatment of vitiligo, which contains serotonin or a derivative thereof as an active ingredient, and to a method for screening pigmentation inhibitors. More particularly, serotonin facilitates an increase in melanin biosynthesis and the migration of melanin cells by serotonin receptor 2A, and therefore can be effectively used in the treatment of vitiligo. According to the present invention, a material which increases or inhibits melanin biosynthesis in a serotonin receptor 2A-specific manner can be developed.La présente invention porte sur une composition pour la prévention ou le traitement de vitiligo qui contient de la sérotonine ou un dérivé de celle-ci comme principe actif et sur un procédé de criblage d'inhibiteurs de pigmentation. Plus particulièrement, la sérotonine facilite une augmentation de la biosynthèse de mélanine et la migration de mélanocytes par l'intermédiaire du récepteur 2A de la sérotonine et ainsi peut être utilisée efficacement dans le traitement du vitiligo. Selon la présente invention, une matière qui augmente ou inhibe la biosynthèse de mélanine de manière spécifique au récepteur 2A de la sérotonine peut être développée.본 발명은 세로토닌 또는 그 유도체를 유효성분으로 포함하는 백반증 예방 또는 치료용 조성물 및 색소 침착 억제제를 스크리닝하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 보다 구체적으로는, 세로토닌은 세로토닌 수용체 2A 를 통해서 멜라닌 생합성의 증가 및 멜라닌 세포의 이동을 촉진시킴으로써 백반증 치료에 유용하게 사용될 수 있으며, 세로토닌 수용체 2A 특이적으로 멜라닌 생합성을 증진시키거나 억제할 수 있는 물질을 개발할 수 있다.
