The food ingredient mixer comprises a mixing drum supported on a machine frame around an axial core of rotation of the drum in the horizontal direction； and a control device controlling rotation of the mixing drum, and mixes multiple food ingredients in the mixing drum by rotating the mixing drum around the axial core of rotation of the drum in one direction. The mixing drum comprises a cover opened and closed for discharging food ingredients into the mixing drum； and an opening and closing tool maintaining closed state of the cover during rotation of the mixing drum in one direction, and opening the cover by cancelling the closed state of the cover during rotation of the mixing drum in the other direction.
