PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize the descending timing of a planting work machine and the in-timing of a planting clutch, in a sulky transplanter which automates the descending operation of the planting work machine which is performed after a turn at a headland and the in-operation of the planting clutch.SOLUTION: A sulky transplanter comprises planting work machine automatic descending means which automatically descends a planting work machine 3 when a traveling distance from a start of a turn reaches a first set distance L1, and planting clutch automatic in-operation means which automatically sets the planting clutch into in-operation when the traveling distance from the start of the turn reaches a second set distance L2. The sulky transplanter also comprises timing delay means which delays timing at which the planting work machine 3 is automatically descended and timing at which the planting clutch is automatically set into the in-operation when a front wheel cut angle is not small than a prescribed angle P even if the traveling distance from the start of the turn reaches the first set distance L1.
