PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable composition that can easily impart antibacterial properties to equipment for eyes and medical equipment at a relatively low cost and to provide an antibacterial composition produced by polymerizing the polymerizable composition.SOLUTION: The polymerizable composition for eyes and medical treatment including ε-polylysine having a (meth)acryloyl group is provided. In the polymerizable composition, it is preferable that the content of ε-polylysine having a (meth)acryloyl group is about 0.1 to 99 wt% based on the total amount of the composition. A coating agent for eyes and medical treatment including the polymerizable composition, an antibacterial composition for eyes and medical treatment produced by polymerizing the polymerizable composition, equipment for eyes and medical equipment including the antibacterial composition, and contact lens including the antibacterial composition are provided.SELECTED DRAWING: None【課題】比較的安価に、容易に、眼用機器および医療用機器へ抗菌性を付与できる重合性組成物、及びそれを重合して得られる抗菌性組成物を提供すること。【解決手段】（メタ）アクリロイル基を有するε－ポリリシンを含んでなる眼用又は医療用の重合性組成物を提供する。この重合性組成物において、組成物全量に基づいて、（メタ）アクリロイル基を有するε－ポリリシンの含有量が、約0.1～99重量％であることが好ましい。また、上記重合性組成物を含んでなる眼用又は医療用のコーティング剤、上記重合性組成物を重合して得られる眼用又は医療用の抗菌性組成物、上記抗菌性組成物を含んでなる眼用機器又は医療用機器、及び上記抗菌性組成物を含んでなるコンタクトレンズをも提供する。【選択図】なし
