- ASABE and Resource magazine arepleased to announce the winners of the 2025 AE50 Awards, celebrating companiesand their technological innovations in agricultural, food, and biologicalsystems.The wide scope of agriculturaland biological engineering and technology is represented by this year’s awards,from the laboratory to livestock facilities, and from seed technology tocrop-water management. Innovations in off-road equipment, including vehicles,components, and towed equipment are also recognized among this year’s class ofwinners.With six AE50 Awards apiece,Case IH and Deere & Company top the list of companies with multiple honors.Others with more than one award include AGCO, Claas, MacDon, and Salford Group.Other notable winners include PTx Trimble, Precision Planting, and TeeJetTechnologies.“This year’s batch of AE50winners is another excellent mix of full machines, major systems, software andnever-seen-before technological solutions, all significantly advancingagriculture into the future,” says ASABE Executive Director Darrin Drollinger. “Great examples of the breadth of AE50 products include the all newCase IH AF series of combines with innovation from ‘header to spreader’ toIndigo Ag’s biotrinsic CLIPS device, which provides an eloquent hands-freemethod for uniform coating of seeds with biologicals.”The complete list of winners,along with video introductions for each, is available atasabe.org/AE50awardwinners. The awards will be presented at ASABE’s 2025Agricultural Equipment Technology Conference, being held February 9–12 inLouisville. Winners will be featured in the January/February issue of Resource,available later this month.AE50 Awards are chosen by apanel of technology experts who rank nominations for innovation, engineeringadvancement, and impact on the market served.The 2025 winners will now bereviewed for selection of the Davidson Prize, presented each year to the topthree products. This year’s Davidson Prizes will be announced at the 2025Commodity Classic, being held March 1–4, at the Colorado Convention Center, inDenver.The AE50 Awards were firstpresented in June 1984, in a special issue of ASABE’s Agricultural Engineering(now Resource), in which 25 new techniques, inventions, and innovations wereshowcased.ASABE is an internationaleducational organization dedicated to the advancement of engineering applicableto agricultural, food, and biological systems.
