PURPOSE: A lie detector based on contents and a method thereof are provided to efficiently produce cognitive load by actively inducing a recognition response from a person to be tested.CONSTITUTION: A cognitive load providing unit(310) provides test contents, which are composed of images, computer graphics, and virtual reality, to a person to be tested. A response detection unit(320) recognizes psychological emotion using emotion recognition. A determination response extracting unit(330) extracts a cognitive load response which plays a significant role for determining the existence and nonexistence of a lie. A control unit(340) receives cognitive load response components extracted from the determination response extracting unit.
