PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition of a paroxetine hydrochloride hydrate, having the inhibited retardation of its disintegration.SOLUTION: This pharmaceutical composition for oral administration including the paroxetine hydrochloride hydrate at least 1 kind of an excipient selected form the group consisting of lactose, white sugar, D-mannitol, corn starch, a partially alpharized starch, crystalline cellulose, anhydrous calcium hydrogen phosphate and calcium hydrogen phosphate hydrate and at least 1 kind of a disintegrating agent selected from the group consisting of carmellose calcium, hydroxypropylcellulose having a low substitution degree and sodium carboxymethylstarch is provided by (a) selecting the anhydrous calcium hydrogen phosphate as the excipient and also selecting at least optional 1 kind from the disintegrating agents, or (b) selecting at least optional 1 kind from the excipients and selecting the carmellose calcium, the low substitution degree hydroxypropylcellulose or both of them as the disintegrating agent.
