The second orthodontic device comprises a body mounted over the maxillary dental arch and having an inner wall located on the lingual side of the maxillary dental arch, an outer wall located on the buccal side of the patient's maxillary arch, and a bridge connecting the inner and outer walls. Both walls, inner and outer, have an upper part that extends above the bridge, limiting the canal enclosing the maxillary dental arch, and the lower part below the bridge, limiting the canal enclosing the mandibular dental arch.
