#$%^&*AU2020100724A420200618.pdf#####2 SUSTAINABLE BAMBOO HYDROPONIC FLOATING FARM - Abstract USEFUL IN REDUCING THE EFFECTS OF STARVATION IN URBANISATION ABSTRACT A hydroponic system which floats on water and is designed to withstand natural disasters in a way that is sustainable and renewable so that the world's growing population can be supported. The invention is built from bamboo which is a biodegradable material and can tolerate rot thus enabling it to be structurally sound for a significant amount of time. The structure of the invention comprises of four floating platforms, on a fresh water source, one of which is a central base where the other three branch off, and support the growth of the crops desired this is achieved through hydroponics. The central platform has a hand pump which enables water to flow to the top of an A frame on each of the branches, from here the water flows down a track of semi cylindrical bamboo pipes with soil and plants, retained by some of the septum of the bamboo, this process is repeated on each side of the A frame four times.
