PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-allergic agent capable of being taken daily for a long time, free from side effects such as suppression of immunity, and capable of effectively relieving symptoms of pollinosis, and to provide foods and beverages, animal feed, cosmetics, and medicines including the anti-allergic agent.SOLUTION: The anti-allergic agent contains an effective amount of a compound represented by general formula (I), wherein R1, R2, R3 and R4 each independently represent a 1-4C alkyl group which may be the same or different, and preferably, all of R1, R2, R3 and R4 in general formula (I) are a methyl group.
