PURPOSE: A method of recognizing the directivity of grain on granite is provided to change fine cracks showing on the exaggerated picture of a thin section to clear images. CONSTITUTION: A method of recognizing the directivity of grain on granite is as follows. A normal rock sample is obtained from granite(S110). The rock sample is cut in parallel to one surface of the rock sample to manufacture a thin section(S120). Images of the thin section are taken(S130). To show fine cracks on the thin section, the taken images are processed(S140). Based on the fine cracks showing on the processed images, the directivity of grain of the cut surface of the granite is determined(S150).
