Provided herein are placental stem cells for use in a method for treatment of scleroderma or mycosis fungoide. The method comprises administering the placental stem cells of the invention in a therapeutically effective amount that is sufficient to cause a detectable improvement in one or more symptoms of said scleroderma or mycosis fungoide.
