The present invention relates to siRNA specifically binding to a SS18-SSX fusion gene, and to a composition for preventing or treating cancer containing the same. The siRNA specific to the SS18-SSX fusion gene of the present invention has high specificity for the SS18-SSX fusion gene, has an excellent effect, in an individual having the SS18-SSX fusion gene, of inhibiting the expression of the fusion gene by binding thereto, and exhibits an inhibitory effect on the proliferation of cancer cells, thereby being usable for preventing or treating cancer.
