The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition, a health functional food composition, and a feed composition for preventing, treating, and alleviating brain tumor, comprising amlodipine as an active ingredient. According to the present invention, the amlodipine represents excellent or equal effects in inhibiting the proliferation with respect to cancer cells of glioblastoma, at concentrations lower than temozolomide which is the conventional agent for treating brain tumor. The amlodipine is effectively applied with respect to the cancer cells of glioblastoma having the resistance to the temozolomide, thereby being useful as an active ingredient of a novel agent of treating brain tumor.본 발명은 암로디핀을 유효성분으로 포함하는 뇌종양 예방, 치료 및 개선용 약학적 조성물, 건강기능식품 조성물 및 사료 조성물에 관한 것이다 본 발명에 따른 암로디핀(Amlodipine)이 종래의 뇌종양 치료제인 테모졸로마이드보다 낮은 농도에서도 동등하거나 우수한 교모세포종 암세포에 대한 증식 억제효과를 나타낼 뿐만 아니라, 테모졸로마이드에 내성을 보이는 교모세포종 암세포에 대하여도 효과적으로 작용하므로, 새로운 뇌종양 치료제의 유효성분으로 유용할 수 있다.
