A method for use in an endotracheal intubation procedure, the method including: inserting an intubation guide into a mouth of a subject, the intubation guide including an elongate body defining a passageway configured for receiving a blade portion of an intubation device； covering the mouth of the subject with a ventilation mask including: a ventilation port connected to a ventilator, and an intubation port for receiving the blade portion of the intubation device； ventilating the subject using the ventilation mask； and while ventilation of the subject continues: inserting the blade portion of the intubation device into the passageway through the intubation port； positioning a distal tip of the blade portion proximate to the larynx of the subject； and advancing an endotracheal tube along the blade portion of the intubation device through the intubation port and the intubation guide into a trachea of the subject.La présente invention concerne un procédé d'utilisation d'une procédure d'intubation endotrachéale, le procédé comprenant : l'insertion d'un guide d'intubation dans une bouche d'un sujet, le guide d'intubation comprenant un corps allongé définissant une voie de passage configurée pour recevoir une partie lame d'un dispositif d'intubation ； le recouvrement de la bouche du sujet avec un masque de ventilation comprenant : un orifice de ventilation relié à un ventilateur, et un orifice d'intubation pour recevoir la partie lame du dispositif d'intubation ； la ventilation du sujet en utilisant le masque de ventilation ； et tandis que la ventilation du sujet se poursuit : l'insertion de la partie lame du dispositif d'intubation dans la voie de passage à travers l'orifice d'intubation ； le positionnement d'une pointe distale de la partie lame proche du larynx du sujet ； et l'avancée d'un tube endotrachéal le long de la partie lame du dispositif d'intubation à travers l'orifice d'intubation et le guide d'intubation dans une trachée du sujet.
